Jay Thomas
Rev. Jay Thomas - Pastor

A native of Fort Thomas, Kentucky, Rev. Thomas came to College Park in April of 2006. He has a Masters of Divinity degree from Columbia Theological Seminary and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Emory University. Rev. Thomas was ordained in 2006 and College Park is the first church he has served as pastor. He previously served as Minister to University Students at University Presbyterian Church in Buffalo, New York and as adjunct professor of Religious Studies at Canisius College. Jay is passionate about the call of the church to reach out to the local community and is excited to be a part of what God is doing at College Park.

In his spare time Jay likes to read, travel, work on his house, and hang out with friends. He is a sports fan and enjoys playing golf, basketball, ultimate frisbee, chess, and poker. Jay and his wife, Jannan, met at Columbia Seminary and were married in 2002. Jannan is also an ordained Presbyterian pastor and is currently working as Community Partnerships Coordinator at Hands On Atlanta. Jay and Jannan live in the Capitol View Manor neighborhood of Atlanta.
